Terms of Service
Last updated: [FILL IN PUBLICATION DATE]
⚠ This is a reference draft meant as a starting point for shops operating in the United States — it is NOT legal advice. Before publishing it for real, have a US-licensed attorney review it against your specific business model and the laws of the state(s) where you operate (state law varies significantly on deposits, cancellation fees, arbitration clauses, and consumer protection).
Welcome to NailHub ("we," "us," "NailHub") — a booking software platform for nail salons. By accessing or using NailHub, you agree to the terms below.
1. The Service
NailHub provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) that lets salon owners create their own booking page and manage schedules, customers, services, revenue, and related operational tools. NailHub is a technology platform only — we do not provide nail services ourselves and are not a party to the relationship between a salon and its customers.
2. User accounts
- You must provide accurate information when registering an account and are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- Each account is for use by a single individual or business; accounts may not be shared with unauthorized third parties.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Plans, trials, and billing
- A first shop may use a free trial for a set period (currently 30 days), with no payment card required upfront.
- After the trial ends, or when creating a second shop or beyond, a paid plan is required to keep full access to the platform.
- Subscription fees are processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe, and regionally VNPay/PayOS). NailHub does not store your card details.
- [FILL IN: your specific refund policy — e.g. "fees already paid are non-refundable" or "refundable within X days if unused."]
- You may stop using the service at any time; your account/shop is not automatically deleted unless you request it.
4. Salon owner responsibilities
- The salon owner is responsible for the accuracy of the shop information, services, and prices shown to customers.
- The salon owner is responsible for managing and securing the customer data their shop collects through the platform, and for complying with applicable data protection and consumer protection laws in their state.
- NailHub is not responsible for the quality of nail services actually rendered, disputes between a salon and its customers, or arrangements made outside the platform.
- Deposits, cancellation windows, and no-show fees, where enabled, are set by the salon owner in their own settings. [FILL IN: if your state regulates deposit/cancellation-fee practices for personal services businesses, confirm your default settings comply before enabling them.]
5. Prohibited conduct
You may not use NailHub to: violate any law; distribute malware or attack the platform's systems; collect other users' data without authorization; impersonate another person or business; or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
6. Limitation of liability
NailHub is provided "as is," without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NailHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
7. Termination
NailHub may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or that fails to pay applicable fees, after reasonable notice. You may request deletion of your account/data at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to these terms
NailHub may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or on the platform before they take effect.
9. Governing law
[FILL IN: "These terms are governed by the laws of the State of ______, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions." Also decide and fill in whether disputes go to a specific court, or to binding arbitration — this is a real legal choice a US attorney should help you make, not a default NailHub can safely pick for you.]
10. Contact
For questions about these terms, please contact: [FILL IN: support email] — [FILL IN: phone/address if you want to publish one].
